Utah Rugby News is dedicated to the world’s game of rugby as it grows, evolves and transcends the state of Utah.
The Beehive State’s connection to the Game goes way back, to before Utah was granted statehood by the U.S. government but groups of Polynesian immigrants settled and worked the land amid the mass migration of the Mormon pioneers.
From there, the game has grown to encompass high school national champions, collegiate club dynasties, and a professional team in the Utah Warriors — a founding member of Major League Rugby.
As rugby grows in the United States leading up to the 2031 men’s World Cup and 2033 women’s World Cup, Utah will be at the center. Join us as we grow the game through thoughtful coverage, insightful analysis, and longform interviews with the players, coaches and supporters of the hooligan’s game played by gentlemen.
